The Early Days

Xi Mengjing, a female baby, was found by a comrade named Jia Zhaohuai in the Huangtanggang Villager’s Team Committee of Guannan Village, Yanqiao Town, Dingyuan County on 04-20-2006. With the approval from the Civil Administration Bureau of Dingyuan County, she was admitted into our institute on 04-20-2006. Her living expenses have been supplied by the Civil Administration Bureau of Dingyuan County. When she was found, her umbilical cord exuded blood. After examining her, doctors determined that she was a newborn baby. Therefore, we regarded her date of birth as the day when she was found: 04-20-2006. When she arrived, her height was 50cm, weight was 2.5kg, head circumference was 32.5cm, and chest circumference was 33cm. She was in good health. When she was first found, she had a round face, black hair, single-edged eyelids, and a rosy complexion.

Gothcha Day!

Hi Everyone!
Today is the day Paul ,Gina, and I have been waiting for. The day we receive Jillian is called the "Gotcha Day". This will be a celebrated date in the years to come--March 19. paul was up at 4Am and I was able to sneak another 1 1/2 hours of "Z's". Now we are pacing. We will be united with Jillian at 9-9:30 which is about 2 hours away. We are going to ask someone to videotape our greeting with Jillian and somehow download it fin the blog so everyone can see the event. Keep your eyes peeled! I am getting too ansy to stay put and need to sign off. Next time we communicate you'll see Jillian. Please say a prayer that she is as healthy as the medical records displayed.
