The Early Days

Xi Mengjing, a female baby, was found by a comrade named Jia Zhaohuai in the Huangtanggang Villager’s Team Committee of Guannan Village, Yanqiao Town, Dingyuan County on 04-20-2006. With the approval from the Civil Administration Bureau of Dingyuan County, she was admitted into our institute on 04-20-2006. Her living expenses have been supplied by the Civil Administration Bureau of Dingyuan County. When she was found, her umbilical cord exuded blood. After examining her, doctors determined that she was a newborn baby. Therefore, we regarded her date of birth as the day when she was found: 04-20-2006. When she arrived, her height was 50cm, weight was 2.5kg, head circumference was 32.5cm, and chest circumference was 33cm. She was in good health. When she was first found, she had a round face, black hair, single-edged eyelids, and a rosy complexion.

Todays Agenda

It is now Saturday morning in Bejing! Today is the day we see the sights of China. We will venture out to see the great wall of china and some other attractions. I already have a nice cigar planned for the top of the wall! It was funny as we checked into the hotel, the music in the lobby was playing two of my favorite songs... My Way and the theme to the godfather!! How ironic!!

Kerrin did excellent on the flight. She enjoyed the flight and trip to the hotel. She is counting the time before we see the baby! She will be such a great mom!

Gina, you will be in school monday when we meet Jillian. I will send a picture to your cellphone so you can be one of the first to see Jillian. You will be Jillians big sister she will always love and lookup to. You will be the best!!!

We will be welcoming Jillian into our family Sunday evening!!
